I Feeding the Fish presentano 'Flux' - Uno spettacolo mozzafiato caratterizzato da coreografie di colori associate a giocoleria di alto livello tecnico unitamente alla danza e ad una tecnologia d'avanguardia. Questo spettacolo in due atti, veramente unico nel suo genere, è stato rappresentato in 27 paesi nel mondo.
Meravigliosi motivi di luce sono tracciati nell'aria durante questo impressionante spettacolo teatrale mentre palle e clavette cambiano colore in perfetta sincronia con il sottofondo musicale in crescendo. Il materiale scenico è studiato appositamente per creare una strabiliante varietà di forme e di laser coloratissimi mentre viene abilmente maneggiato e lanciato in aria da esperti giocolieri.
La rappresentazione si adatta perfettamente ad eventi aziendali, festival, promozioni di nuovi prodotti, feste private, serate di gala e caffè concerto ma anche a serate in discoteca.

Tecnologia
Avete mai visto una fascia di luce color mandarino contornata da un alone rosso scuro? O strisce blu elettrico che proiettano raggi verde smeraldo? Gli effetti visivi creati dai sistemi elettronici dei Feeding the Fish sono stati definiti 'così buoni da volerli mangiare' e, così come per la giocoleria stessa, la tecnologia è fondamentale per la buona riuscita dello spettacolo.
Dal 2001, progettiamo e creiamo la totalità della tecnologia da noi utilizzata. Attualmente, i circuiti presenti all'interno delle nostre clavette vantano un sofisticato modulo a 6 canali che permette un missaggio dei colori ed un sequenziatore preciso al millisecondo. Non solo i LED rosso/blu/verde sono i più luminosi in assoluto, ma ogni clavetta contiene 42 emettitori che creano straordinarie colorazioni ricche e vivaci.
Tra gli ultimi effetti speciali lanciati nell'inverno del 2005 citiamo i nuovi light stick, luminescenti cilindri con laser, utilizzati attualmente nello spettacolo Flux, coreografia di giocoleria con le clavette. Con una visibilità di oltre 3,6 chilometri, questi laser sono i più luminosi e potenti utilizzabili pur garantendo una sicurezza ed una regolarità sul palcoscenico. Il laser verde puro è controllato da un microchip inserito nello stick che permette la creazione in aria di motivi quali punti, strisce e losanghe. Questi effetti sono sequenziati secondo i moduli ed i colori dei LED presenti all'interno dello stick stesso per sincronizzarsi perfettamente con la musica.
Considerato che il nostro materiale scenico è studiato appositamente per Flux, non siamo assoggettati alle restrizioni sugli allestimenti disponibili in commercio e possiamo quindi utilizzare i componenti (migliori per luminosità, rapidità ed impatto visivo) ed includere i nuovi eventuali sviluppi della tecnologia LED non appena diventano disponibili. Siamo del parere che se possiamo inventare un'idea, possiamo anche creare la tecnologia per realizzarla. Il primissimo materiale scenico sequenziato ad ampio spettro è stato il poi nel 2001 - sbalorditivo e abbastanza insolito rispetto a quanto visto prima.
Il passo successivo era quello di progettare clavette aventi simili effetti visivi. Una sfida importante a livello progettistico, ma furono comunque pronte per la vigilia di Capodanno del 2004. E, il pubblico della Salle du Canton di Monaco potrà senz'altro testimoniare, valse veramente la pena aspettare - le clavette ebbero un effetto favoloso. Si tratta infatti di clavette tra le più sofisticate al mondo in termini di attrezzi di giocoleria elettronica - in grado di produrre oltre 16 milioni di colori, sincronizzabili tra loro e/o con un eventuale sottofondo musicale e riprogrammabili al computer ogni qualvolta lo si desideri per rendere alcune esibizioni più personalizzabili.

Les Emotions de rue se sont poursuivies en fin de semaine dernière avec un succès qui ne dément pas...
Puis, vers 21 h 30, alors que la nuit commence doucement à tomber, Alix et Simon, les deux jeunes artistes anglais de Feeding the fish entrent en scène pour un moment mêlant jonglerie, technologie et magie. A l'aide de quilles et de balles, lumineuses, les deux jongleurs, qui ne manquent assurément ni d'audace ni d'imagination, ont immediatement transporté le publie dans leur univers étonnant rempli de poésie, au cours d'un spectacle haut en couleur.
Dans la pénombre de la petite place, les lumières vives des balles et des massues dessinent dans l'air des arabesques surprenantes. Les numéros se succèdent avec rapidité. Les deux artistes (qui se font volontiers danseurs, voire acrobats) jonglent tour à tour en solo, employant simultanément jusqu'à cinq quilles - ou à quatre mains, toujours avec une dextérité incomparable. Aucun temps mort dans ce spectacle parfaitement bien rodé, soutenu par une bande musical entrainante.
Le tableau final les montrera jonglant l'une debout sur les épaules de son complice. Un numéro présenté avec une apparente facilité plutôt déconcertante!
Les deux artistes ne pouvaient que charmer le public et les 20 minutes de ce spectacle petillant et plein de fantaisie ont été, de l'avis général, bien trop courtes...

One must go with the times. Juggling cannot stay the same. But to those who know it, it has always looked quite similar. Then along come the highly electronic and very modern "Feeding the Fish." The British act, formed in 1996, use brightly illuminated and programmable juggling balls and clubs in their show "Flux". Red, blue and green radiate, changing again and again as Simon Mylius and Alix Wilding spin the colours through the night air. Here is juggling performance without all the circus tradition. This concept works elegantly and coolly, alongside the futuristic electronic music.
Spinning quickly, the clubs become refractive lenses, and the balls like giant fireflies, flying through the air. Despite the many technical aids, the performance of "Feeding the Fish" is not cold... behind all the electronics, humans are at work.
Overall, whilst the duo themselves perform increasingly impressive tricks, the juggling does not come across as soulless: Perfect but poetic patterns - the performers throw the clubs to make a neverending firework display.
